Creating the Basic Tag in Paint Shop Pro

Step 1
Open the Tic Tac Toe template and and open up the Layer Palette. Go to Raster Layer 2 (the checkered tag). Colorize this layer by going to Adjust/Hue and Saturation/Colorize and move the sliders over until you have a combination of colors that will coordinate with the tube image you are using. Go to the Merged Layer (where you have the tic tac toe graphic) and colorize with the same hue and saturation as you used on Raster Layer 2.

Step 2
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and flood fill this layer with the color of the background of the blog, forum, or web site where you will be posting your tag. Go to Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom.

Step 3
Open up your tube graphic. Go to Edit/Copy. Make the tag image active and go to Edit/Paste as New Layer. Paste your image on the tag. If the tube graphic is too large, go to Image/Resize, using the percent option, bicubic and resize all layers NOT checked.

Step 4
Add your licensing information and any other elements to the tag. Go to Layers/Merge/Merge All (Flatten) and save this file as a PSP or PSD file.

Step 5
Open up the tic tac toe elements - the X, O, Diagonal, and Tic Tac Toe Word Art. Colorize each of these with the same hue and saturation as you did for your tag. Resave each of these elements. You will be applying these elements in Animation Shop.
